Beat No More, Alive to Tell the Story

About 14 years ago, was raped by friend, didn't stop there decided to move in. Covered a bad act, with a worse relationship, what could have been on my mind to put up with that Shhhhould have know better than to be with an abuser for nearly a  year, can't tell how many times I cried or the number of tears. He was insecure and I had low self esteem, what a combination for a disaster, society had to redeem.  

 Worse than hard up, and really in flight, didn't know I was in for a nightly fight. Brought 4 children as onlookers to the insanity, had a child by him as well. How could I live and tell my 1 son and 4 daughters --- this was (n't) --- Oh well Helll-p ---  Slept with long blade under the left side of the bed every night, even got comfortable  with the idea of ending his life. Went to work often with blacked eyes I never covered, told people that this is what happens when two people loved each other. You took the good with the brain damage.  

One time I even faked being dead, after a fight  where I was beat and kicked down  the bottom of my  bedroom attic stairs, with a big ol' knot on side of my head . You'd think he would check me for signs of life --Naaa. ----Stepped right over my body to go the fridge, and never called for help, that hurt worse than the beatings ----

Today,  I AM ALIVE  I'm proud to say, the journey to total healing was and " is" worth it,-- please get away from your abuser, no matter who they should be ---  learn that God grace is sufficient, as he taught me  how be alone and precious, ---precious as the blood Christ shed for me --- await a partner God will send if necessary.
